Children got to try different mediums throughout the week.
Getting paint on your hands and clothes is an occupational hazard — especially at summer camp.
Arts A Blaze on Lakewood Ranch Main Street held its annual week-long summer camp for children. Each day, kids got to try a different art medium, such as pottery painting, glass fusing, mosaic making and canvas painting. Nikki Williams, the camp instructor, has been teaching classes during camp for seven years.
"I love working with kids. It's fun to see their imagination and creations, because no one project is the same," she said.
