Teams participated STEAM Olympics Thursday.
Flags were lifted and games were played...but not the typical Olympic sports.
Braden River Middle School students teamed up and competed at school for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) Olympics Thursday, May 26.
Seventh- and eighth-graders built structures, made foil boats and battled out mental math problems to gain points for their teams in the afternoon. In the morning, local company representatives and experts spoke to the classes.
