Students explored science, art and engineering themed activites.
William H. Bashaw Elementary School's end-of-the-year festival featured a new twist this year: it focused on the school's Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) classification.
Students got to explore science, engineering and technology-themed activities at the festival Thursday, May 19. Some students also dressed up as historical figures.
Sharon Harrison, a kindergarten teacher, supervised the block-building station.
"Blocks are your first technology," she said "You play with them, understand how to build a foundation."
