All six state Senate candidates appear on a panel for the Argus Foundation Meet the Minds luncheon.
Community leaders had the opportunity to meet Florida Senate candidates in person Thursday, April 21 with the Argus Foundation Meet the Minds luncheon at Louie's Modern.
A panel of the six candidates running to fill the District 23 seat that will be left vacant by Nancy Detert soon. The panel included Frank Cirillo, former Rep. Doug Holder, Rick Levine, former Sarasota County Commissioner Nora Patterson, Rep. Ray Pilon and Rep. Greg Steube.
Of the six candidates five are Republicans and one is a Democrat. The Republican candidates will be narrowed down with the Aug. 30 primary.
