Gourmet Lawn Party reaches $26,000 sponsorship goal

With Brooke O’Malley’s contribution to the Longboat Key Kiwanis Club’s Gourmet Lawn Party held Dec. 6, the event has reached its sponsorship goal of $26,000.

O’Malley, a Key resident, recently contributed a gold level sponsorship for $2,500, joining Woody Wolverton, of Stifel Financial Corp., as the event’s latest contributor.

Wolverton, a former Kiwanis president and member of the club for 25-years, joins three others as $5,000 platinum level sponsors for the lawn party, including, Team Renick Real Estate Services, The Observer Group and the Resort at Longboat Key Club.

President Armando Linde said the club has already doubled the amount of sponsorships they had compared to last year, attributing the event’s success so far to the organization and connections of event chair Michael Garey.
