Woodland to host Wellness Expo 2010

The Manatee County School District and Woodland, The Community Church have again partnered to bring information about healthy living to East County residents.

The Wellness Expo 2010 event will be held at 6 p.m., Aug. 31, at Woodland, 9607 S.R. 70 E., Bradenton.

The wellness-focused evening will include free giveaways and information from more than 75 local wellness vendors. Special guest this year will be wellness expert Dr. Richard Couey, who will speak on how to avoid illness.

Tickets cost $5, but admission is free with a current School Board identification.
