Designing Women Boutique presented its 2014 grants at the organization’s Grant Awards Ceremony Thursday, April 24. The Sarasota Ballet, Sarasota Museum of Art, The Salvation Army, Art Center Sarasota, Boys and Girls Clubs of Sarasota County, Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe and All Faiths Food Bank received grants at the event, and Asolo Repertory Theatre received a $50,000 grant. Jay Berman received a grant for the Glasser-Schoenbaum Human Services Center in honor of Betty Schoenbaum and Olivia Thomas received a grant for SPARCC in honor of Mary Ann Robinson.
