City workers spent the morning cleaning up after a night of high winds.

At Five Points, palm fronds torn from trees at the roundabout were blown as far as two blocks.

Winds are gusting as high as 34 mph at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport, and they will remain that high through the night.

Tomorrow isn’t expected to quite as blustery, with winds at 15 mph. Temperatures, however, will hover in the mid-50s.
