Brian Kenney, principal of the Boston-based Juliani Kenney Investment Capital LLC, spoke to the Longbeach Village Association March 2 about plans for Whitney Beach Plaza, which the company purchased for $3.7 million in December.

Kenney told the group that his company is still negotiating with a national pharmacy but said that a grocery store or liquor store would also be viable anchor tenants. He said his company could get a decision from the national pharmacy within four weeks.

“The hurdle we have to get over is to get the retailer excited about this spot,” Kenney said.

Kenney told the group that his company is open to suggestions from residents about businesses they would like to see in the shopping center.

“If you know of a retailer you think would work out here, please let me know,” he said.
