Sock it to 'em

The Wise Witty Women group took their lunch time to help out at the Jewish Family & Children's Services to sort more than 4,000 packages of donated socks. The donations came from the Sock It To Us Campaign spearheaded by Sheila Birnbaum. The community-wide effort will provide a new pair of socks to children, seniors and homeless veterans. As a token of appreciation the women were presented with a sock-shaped cake.
