Cigar Box Festival with Steve Arvey and Ben Prestage — takes place at 7 p.m. at Fogartyville Community Media and Arts Center. Celebrate cigar-box culture and get down to the sounds of Steve Arvey and one-man-band and cigar-box-guitar virtuoso Ben Prestage. Event features folk art, cigar box guitars and food vendors.
Factory Friday — takes place at 9 p.m. at Throb Nightclub. Recording artist Erica Jayne will perform alongside DJ Greg Anderson and Ronny B. Drink specials all night. Free for ages 21 and older. $5 for ages 18 to 20.

Friendsgiving Fest 2014— takes place from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Coffee Loft. Features live music all day, artwork, raffles, booths and tents. Free. Canned food items encouraged.
JDub's / Terrapin Collaboration Party — takes place at 8 p.m. at Mr. Beery's. JDub's brewing company has teamed up with Athens, Ga. based brewery, Terrapin, to create "Das Gloop," a chocolate rye bock. Free.
