Fashion Insider: Weekend Unwindings

Have the ultimate self-care day after a long weekend with these tips and tricks.

Let’s face it — season is tough.

Whether it’s going to galas, hosting an event or working on the planning details – or photographing every event! – there’s a lot of time and energy that goes into the social scene. It can definitely wear you down and leave you in need of a breather.

That’s why, even during the busiest months, it’s important to remember to relax and take time for yourself.

If you're like me and have to schedule in your relaxing time, then pencil it in, ladies and gentlemen! We are halfway through the season, but really, it's just starting.

My favorite way to unwind is a good book, brunch with my best friends and a walk to the nearest coffee shop.

To dive further in, I asked local philanthropists and chatted with local boutiques to find the most relaxing ways to unwind —and even pamper yourself — after a long weekend of events, whether it’s from your own home or spa time elsewhere.

So kick back, relax and recharge before the next busy weekend. We all know it will come again soon.
