Ah, the familiar bustle of season in Sarasota is upon us once again. There's tons to do this weekend. Let's take a look at our best bets:

  • The Holding Cell world premiere — takes place at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, at The Out-Of-Door Academy on Deer Drive. The Sarasota Film Festival kicks of its Moonlight Movies series tonight with the world premiere of locally-produced film, The Holding Cell, which tells the story of local teens entangled in the world of prescription drug addiction. Free.
  • Forks and Corks — takes place from Friday, Jan. 24 to Monday, Jan. 27 Although this popular wine event sold out its Grand Tasting in 8 minutes, tickets are still available for its University Sessions as well as its winemaker dinners and events Friday and Saturday at participating restaurants. Costs and locations vary.
  • Sarasota Native American Indian Festival — takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24 to Sunday, Jan. 26. at the Sarasota Fairgrounds. This seventh annual event showcases the culture and history of Native American Indians and features handmade arts, crafts and jewelry as well as food, live music, dance and other performances. $7 for adults, $3 for children and free for children younger than 5.
  • Little War Twins and Raef —takes place at 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at Growler's Pub. Catch Boston-based band, Little War Twins and local solo act, Raef. Free.
  • Hurricane Mike's Chili Cook Off — takes place at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, at Hurricane Mike's in Gulf Gate. Come warm up with Hurricane Mike's sixth-annual chili cook off and pick your favorite.
