WEEKEND BEST BET: Three-day event celebrates James Bond

This year's theme celebrates Britain's most dashing action hero, James Bond.

A reception tonight kicks off the weekend at 6:30 p.m. in the Rectrix Aerodome Center at SRQ Airport.Classic imported and exotic cars will be on display, along with new luxury cars, sophisticated jets and custom-built motorcycles.There will be a fashion show, flaunting styles from Dream Weaver, Martin Freeman, L Boutique, Cutting Loose and Panucci Productions, as well as a silent auction. Food and cocktails will be available. Guests are encouraged to dress as their favorite James Bond character.

Exotics Concourse on St. Armands will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in St. Armands Circle. This portion, free to the public, will include a Rolls-Royce, Lotus, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Bentley, among other makes of cars.

A "Casino Royale"-themed dinner starts at 6 p.m., Saturday, at Michael's on East. Festivities begin with cocktails and casino games, including black jack, poker, craps and roulette. A dinner, live entertainment and dancing will follow.

The weekend concludes with a road rally, which starts at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, and brunch, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at The Founders Golf Club.
