Students ages 12 and under will have the opportunity to dive into science and math-themed activities this weekend, through exploratory exhibits, a 36-foot space shuttle turbo slide and a make-your-own robot costume contest.

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, the Lakewood Ranch Community Activities Corporation's Rock Your Robot Science Fair will take over Greenbrook Adventure Park, offering a variety of educational activities for East County students to enjoy. School-sponsored booths will feature lessons and games to teach students math and science concepts.

The "space center for a day" event will also feature a balloon artist and face painters, along with food and beverages available for purchase.
