If you still haven’t found a Father’s Day gift, consider a trip to Mote Marine Aquarium, 1600 Ken Thompson Parkway.

Dads get free admission on Fathers Day, Sunday, June 19, with a paid child’s ticket.

While you’re there, check out the Sea Horse Conservation Laboratory, which is home to some unusual dads: Sea horses are the only species in the world where males carry the babies. You can also honor your dad by adopting a manatee, penguin, shark, ray, sea turtle, sea horse or dolphin. For information, go to mote.org/adopt.

Mote’s hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. Tickets are $17 for adults, $16 for seniors over 65, $12 for children ages 4 to 12, and free for children 3 and under. Admission is always free for Mote members.
