WEEKEND BEST BET: Community Health Fair

Longboat Island Chapel’s Aging in Paradise Resource Center will hold its Community Health Fair from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Chapel, 6200 Gulf of Mexico Drive.

More than 25 health-care providers will be present. Services available at the fair will include hearing testing by All-Ears, eye testing by Eye Associates, vital sign checks by LECOM medical students, massage therapy and breast cancer screenings. Longboat Key Fire Rescue will also be on hand to provide educational materials.

All services at the event are free. The Health Fair will also feature dozens of door prizes.
