The weather is cooler, and car carriers trek down Gulf of Mexico Drive daily. That means fall is in the air.

Celebrate the season at the Centre Shops Fall Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, at the Centre Shops of Longboat Key, 5370 Gulf of Mexico Drive.

Find art, fresh produce and information from Longboat Key Turtle Watch and the Longboat Key Historical Society. Dr. Pamela Letts will offer flu shots. Businesses will offer sales and specials, along with coffee, popcorn and other treats.

The event is the first of three festivals Centre Shops merchants have planned for the season. For information, contact Stephanie Claussen at 383-1901.
