Water Club condo sells for $3.5 million

The Unit 1002 condominium at 1281 Gulf of Mexico Drive has three bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and 3,435 square feet of living area.

The following residential real estate transactions took place between June 6 and June 10.

A condominium in The Water Club at Longboat Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Judith Pursley and Laurence Weigand, trustees, of Allen, Ind., sold the Unit 1002 condominium at 1281 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Donna Feeney, trustee, of Ontario, Canada, for $3.5 million. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and 3,435 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $3.21 million in March.

L’Ambiance at Longboat Key Club
Gordon Paterson, of Longboat Key, sold his Unit M-508 condominium at 435 L’Ambiance Drive to Gay and Steven Sacharoff, of Longboat Key, for $2.95 million. Built in 1994, it has three bedrooms, three-and-two-half baths and 3,220 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.85 million in 2006.

Positano
Marijo and Anthony Martin, trustees, sold the Unit 303 condominium at 4975 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Timothy and Debra Williams, of Longboat Key, for $2.65 million. Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 3,123 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2,531,200 in 2006.

Beachplace
Faruk and Aziza Karimi sold their Unit 402 condominium at 1145 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Charles and Joanne Chada, of Rochester, N.Y., for $730,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,392 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.3 million in 2005.

Craig Tate and Judith Nettleton-Tate, of S. Yorkshire, United Kingdom, sold their Unit 204 condominium at 1075 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Michael and Tina Calvo, of Windermere, for $565,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,503 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $520,000 in 2003.

Beachplace III
John and Emilia Cowan, of Ontario, Canada, sold their Unit 102 condominium at 1085 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Joseph and Marion Lorenzo, of Washington, N.J., for $550,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,392 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $400,000 in 2014.

Windward Bay
Frederick and Carol Fillmore, of W. Lafayette, Ind., sold their Unit PH-4 condominium at 4600 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Steven and Robin Kacel, of Highland Park, Ill., for $429,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,096 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $425,000 in 2008.

Todd Burmeister, of Minneapolis, sold his Unit 202 condominium at 4540 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Steven and Cheryl Jones, of Orlando, for $262,500. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 1,096 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $250,000 in 2007.

Fairway Bay II
Bernard and Marjorie Phillips, trustees, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 1602 condominium at 2002 Harbourside Drive to Norman Monhait and Marcia Halperin, of Wilmington, Del., for $380,000. Built in 1985, it has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,598 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $225,000 in 1997.

Cedars East
John Raftis, of Ontario, Canada, sold his Unit 34 condominium at 847 Evergreen Way to Michael and Cynthia Pietsch, of Longboat Key, for $285,000. Built in 1991, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,440 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $204,000 in 2001.

John Ringling Estates
Kimberly and Mitchell Ruzek, of Sarasota, sold their home at 161 S. Polk Drive to Kurt and Jessica O’Brien, of Windermere, for $3.2 million. Built in 2013, it has four bedrooms, three-and-two-half baths, a pool and 4,617 square feet of living area.

Donald Fleming, trustee, and Safford Fleming, of Sarasota, sold the home at 470 N. Washington Drive to Charles and Karen Haff, of Edina, Minn., for $1,775,000. Built in 1985, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,495 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.61 million in 2012.

Lido Harbour South
Katharine Butler, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 409 condominium at 2110 Benjamin Franklin Drive to James and Elizabeth Cox, of Sarasota, for $650,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,607 square feet of living area.

Kingston Arms
Elizabeth Starrett, of Boston, sold her Unit 11A condominium at 500 S. Washington Drive to Catherine Coffield, of Sarasota, for $375,000. Built in 1963, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,034 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $325,000 in 2012.

BIRD KEY

J&M Eldred Realty LLC sold the home at 510 Spoonbill Way to David and Martha Campbell, of Sarasota, for $2,027,500. Built in 2013, it has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 5,422 square feet of living area.
