The Tiny Hands Foundation is looking for volunteers for this weekend’s Backpack Brigade event Saturday, Aug. 2, at the Boys & Girls Club of Sarasota. Volunteers will be filling 1,500 backpacks with school supplies for local children in need. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will help those in need start their school year off right.
