After Braden River High student Sam Woolf's performance on "American Idol" Feb. 19, the show's judges — Harry Connick Jr., Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban — unanimously decided he needed to stay a little bit longer.

More than 50 of Woolf's peers watched from the auditorium at BRHS, as the high school senior progressed on to be one of the top 10 men in the 13th season of the competition.

His performance of David Gray's "Babylon," received comments such as "perfect pitch" and "that was money," by Lopez and Urban.

The 17-year-old isn't out of the woods, yet, however.

As part of this year's tweak to the show's schedule, "rush week" requires the elimination of at least a few more men and women tonight, based on the audience's votes last night.

Tune in to FOX from 8 to 9 p.m. Feb. 20, to see if Woolf makes it to the top 13.
