Police found Buckley with her boyfriend around 10:15 p.m. Friday. The boyfriend, 17-year-old Vincent Ventura, is in custody and goes before a judge today, when he will potentially receive charges, said the girl's mother, Gina Buckley.

Gina Buckley said her daughter was found at a place they suspected she might be.

BREAKING ...

A 14-year-old girl went missing 9:15 a.m. Thursday and her parents are seeking the public’s help to find her.

The girl, Megan Buckley, was least seen Thursday morning at Braden River Middle School, where she waited for a school bus to take her to State College of Florida Collegiate School (SCFCS), 5840 26th St. W.

Buckley is a ninth-grader at SCFCS.

Buckley was last seen wearing a burgundy pullover sweatshirt. She has dark hair with tinges of red on it.

Her hair also has small faded blue highlight stripes on both sides.

Her mother, Gina, says the girl may be with her boyfriend, 17-year-old Vincent Ventura.

Gina Buckley says the case does not qualify as an Amber Alert because the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office has deemed the girl a runaway. Contact the sheriff’s office missing/runaway division at 941-747-3011 — referencing case number 2013-035910 — with any tips or information.
