UPDATE: Deputies find missing Ranch man

Manatee County Sheriff's Office deputies located a missing Lakewood Ranch man eight miles from his home.

Stephen Green, 78, who suffers from dementia, went for a walk alone at 9 a.m., today. Family members said he walks the same route every day, which completes a circle northbound along Lakewood Ranch Boulevard, east into the Edgewater subdivision and back his residence.

Deputies located him in rural East County. He is in good physical condition and is now safe at home with his family.
