The University Park Women’s Club Garden Group met with Lakewood Ranch resident Tammy Kovar, owner of Biological Tree Services, March 6 to discuss “Tree to Turf — Roots to Canopy.”

Kovar discussed the use of bio-fertilization, integrated pest management, appropriate plant placement, best irrigation practices and how proper trimming and pruning can improve a homeowner’s landscaping.
