Two-bedroom home in Siesta Isles sells for $479,000

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between Oct. 22 and Oct. 26.

A home in Siesta Isles tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Theresa Craig, of Plymouth, Mass., sold the home at 5628 Cape Leyte Drive to Richard and Joann Lockard, of Alpharetta, Ga., for $479,000. Built in 1963, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,558 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $154,000 in 1993.

Gulf and Bay Club
Robert Palmer, of Sarasota, sold his Unit 1206-B condominium at 1206 Siesta Bayside Drive to Mary Crawshaw, of Sarasota, for $475,000. Built in 1988, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,495 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $247,000 in 1996.

Excelsior Beach to Bay
Katherine Stephens, of Sarasota, sold her Unit 106 condominium at 6267 Midnight Pass Road to Charles and Michele Lannon, of Clarence, N.Y., for $400,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,550 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $165,700 in 1992.

Sarasota Beach
Magby LLC sold the home at 5519 Calle Del Verano to Mary Kassen, trustee, of Fenton, Mo., for $395,000. Built in 1970, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,266 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $560,000 in 2006.

Island Reef
David and Donna Webster, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 202-H condominium at 8779 Midnight Pass Road to Lynn Fenster and Michael and Joan Fenster, of Somerset, N.J., for $366,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,303 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $565,000 in 2005.

Palm Bay Club of Sarasota
Frank Caliendo, of Palatine, Ill., sold his Unit 314 condominium at 5961 Midnight Pass Road to Marco Drudi, of Ontario, Canada, for $286,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,000 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $80,000 in 1987.
