During each of the last eight years, the Out-of-Door Academy families have collected food for Gocio Elementary families. For this year’s Thanksgiving, ODA families donated enough food for 59 Gocio families to enjoy a complete Thanksgiving meal, from rolls to turkey. Collection and assembly of the meal baskets takes about two weeks. On Tuesday, Nov. 26, Tracy Bailey from Gocio Elementary accepted the donations and thanked the students for their help.
