Town seeks volunteers for boards

The town is accepting applications for appointments to the following committees and boards: the Planning & Zoning Board, Zoning Board of Adjustment, Code Enforcement Board, General Employees’ Retirement System board of trustees, Firefighters’ Retirement System board of trustees and Citizens Tax Oversight Committee.

All applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. April 28 to the Town Clerk’s office at Longboat Key Town Hall, 501 Bay Isles Road. The Longboat Key Town Commission will hold a meet-and-greet at 10 a.m. May 5, in commission chambers.

All applicants must be registered to vote in the town.
