Town to determine scope of Zoning Code, Comp Plan review

The Longboat Key Town Commission reached consensus at yesterday’s regular workshop to direct Town Manager David Bullock to draft a proposal outlining the scope of work for reviewing the town’s Zoning Code and Comprehensive Plan. The draft will serve as a starting point for discussions.

Commissioner Hal Lenobel dissented, saying that the Comprehensive Plan has worked well for the town and that he sees no reason for changes.

At yesterday’s workshop, Bullock recommended that the commission determine the scope of work needed before discussing costs.
