The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Dental Medicine is offering free dental screenings for a limited time.

Screenings will take place from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. Mondays starting Jan. 26, at the School’s Kavo-Kerr patient clinic at 4800 Lakewood Ranch Blvd. in Bradenton.

Manatee County Area Transportation (MCAT) bus service is now available to the school.

Screenings will include: X-rays of the entire mouth, examinations of the teeth and gums and oral cancer screenings of the soft tissue and tongue.

Appointments will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. After the screening, requirements for becoming a patient at the school will be explained by a patient care coordinator.
