This year, the board of directors of the Community Foundation jump-started Season of Sharing with a $200,000 grant, as part of its 30th anniversary BOOST economic stimulus initiative.
In addition, the Selby Foundation offered a $50,000 matching grant Dec. 17 for the Season of Sharing Fund to help needy families in four counties.
