Tim Tebow returns to Bayside Community Church

Sports fans and spiritualists: Tim Tebow will be speaking in East County.

The former Philadelphia Eagles football player, who is known for his displays of Christianity on and off the field, will join Pastor Randy Bezet during three worship services at Bayside Community Church according to a post on the church’s Facebook page.

Tebow will speak during services Saturday, March 5, at 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 6, at 9:15 and 11:15 a.m. No tickets are needed to attend the worship services at the East Bradenton campus, located at 15800 State 64 Road.

It’s not the football player’s first time in East County. Tebow visited Bayside in May 2015 for the church’s Evening of Hope 2015 benefiting the Salvation Army. The event drew in approximately 1,000 attendees, some of whom traveled from as far as Cocoa Beach to hear Tebow speak for an hour, and raised more than $75,000 for the local Salvation Army.
