Three-bedroom Lido Key home sells for $1.7 million

The following residential real-estate transactions took place between July 9 and July 13. A home on Lido Key tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Hugo and Karen Kitzis, of Sarasota, sold their home at 113 Morningside Drive to Robert and Anne Essner, of Sarasota, for $1.7 million. Built in 1957, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,944 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $779,400 in 2004.

Country Club Shores
Charles and Sharon Ford sold their home at 571 Birdie Lane to Virginia O’Connor, of Lake View, N.Y., for $1,175,000. Built in 1967, it has three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 2,571 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1,225,000 in 2009.

Islander Club of Longboat
Alice Landau, trustee, of Ann Arbor, Mich., sold the Units 105-N and 106-N condominiums at 2301 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Timothy Pohl, of Chicago, for $644,000. Built in 1970, it has four bedrooms, four baths and 2,470 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $500,000 in 1997.

Longboat Shores
Baltimore Partnership LLC sold the home at 620 Longview Drive to Sean and Katie Hart, of Leawood, Kan., for $585,000. Built in 1967, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,559 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $660,000 in 2001.

Sunset Beach on Longboat Key
Stephen Schwarzman, of New York, sold his Unit 2301 condominium at 2101 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Ben and Laura Subin, of Winter Park, for $493,500. Built in 1984, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,358 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $395,000 in 2000.

The Shores
JPMorgan Chase Bank sold the Unit 305 condominium at 5757 Gulf of Mexico Drive to John and LuAnne Benson, of Bargersville, Ind., for $450,000. Built in 1973, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,561 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $612,000 in 2011.

Club Longboat
Kenneth and Sandra Paulsen, trustees, of Brookfield, Wis., sold the Unit 431 condominium at 5055 Gulf of Mexico Drive to Judy Riley, trustee, of Longboat Key, for $352,000. Built in 1973, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,484 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $315,000 in 2002.

St. Armands
St. Armands Division of John Ringling Estates Iberiabank sold the home at 308 N. Washington Drive to Randon Carvel, of Sarasota, for $760,100. Built in 1963, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 2,068 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $270,000 in 1998.

Ashwini and Leslie Bahl, of Plant City, sold their home at 55 N. Washington Drive to Jeffrey Kints, of Ontario, Canada, for $750,000. Built in 1960, it has six bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,071 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $450,000 in 2010.

Sarasota Harbour Apartments
Rocco Feravolo, of Narberth, Pa., sold his Unit 21 condominium at 765 John Ringling Blvd. to Dennis and Jill Engerer, of Northville, Mich., for $205,000. Built in 1963, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 816 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $67,000 in 1987.
