Sailor Circus Spring Performance

Sailor Circus, often called the Greatest Little Show on Earth, has been dazzling audiences for 68 years. The 2017 spring performance features more than 100 young circus artists that will flip, fly and perform amazing feats in six performances. Runs through April 16.
FRIDAY, APRIL 14
5:30 p.m. at Pineapple Yoga Studio and Event Space, 517 S. Pineapple Ave.
This fundraising event for the Harvey Milk Festival features live music, tarot readings, yoga demonstrations and performance artist Jess Pope. Food by BulGoGi Sarasota Korean BBQ, as well as beer and wine will be available.
SATURDAY, APRIL 15
World Circus Day: Free Admission to the Circus Museum
10 a.m. at The Ringling, 5401 Bay Shore Road
Celebrate World Circus Day in perhaps the most fitting way possible — with a free trip to The Ringling Circus Museum.

Experience the food and drink of your hometown with this food and craft beer festival, featuring more than 40 area restaurants and samples of more than 60 different craft beers from around the country. Live music by Reverend Barry & Funktastic Soul, Twinkle and Rock Soul Radio and Strangeways.
Food Truck Rally
5 p.m. at JDub's Brewing Co., 1215 Mango Ave.
JDub's Brewing hosts local food trucks on the third Saturday of each month. This month's lineup includes The Amish Baking Company, Big D's Grub Wagon, BulGoGi Sarasota, Chefs2U Restaurant and Catering, Create bakery and gifts, Mother Truckin' Good, out and about coffee and Sweet Cheesus.
'… And I’m Here’

The Players Follies, a performance group for ages 55 and older, hosts a musical revue filled with sketches, songs and dances, that examines how our past informs our present and future.

Nashville-based Delta blues, psychedelic and garage rock musician Kim Logan will perform, followed by Sarasota-based The Hydramatic, an eclectic mix of a soul and R&B. The two acts will team up for a collaborative set at the end of the evening.

Artist Series Concerts of Sarasota presents tenor Blake Friedman and pianist Joseph Holt, performing Rossini, Verdi and Broadway songs, including “Bring Him Home” from Les Misérables. Continues Monday.

Anne Frank: A History For Today Exhibit

The Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee presents this traveling exhibit, which tells the story of Anne Frank through photographs of her childhood in Frankfurt and in Amsterdam. Runs through May 27.

Spice Pop Up Restaurant hosts a five-course seafood menu, featuring blueberry cured salmon, ceviche, mussels, sous vide swordfish and more.
