SATURDAY, June 11- SUNDAY, June 12

Whether for a novice or an expert, the Sunshine State Games, Florida’s Olympic-Style Sports Festival, offers a variety of sports competition. The Sarasota-Bradenton festival will feature sprint paddleboard and rowing at Nathan Benderson Park. Competition will begin at 8 a.m. June 11 and continue June 12. 

SATURDAY, June 11-SUNDAY, June 12

Premier Sports Campus at Lakewood Ranch also gets into the Sunshine State Games act by hosting archery and Ultimate Frisbee. Competition begins at 8:30 a.m. June 11 and continue through Sunday. 

MONDAY, June 13-THURSDAY, June 16

The Out-of-Door Academy will host its Thunder Sports Camp for athletes looking for variety. Students entering kindergarten through seventh grade will participate in a variety of sports and games, including basketball, volleyball, soccer, kickball and floor hockey. The camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at ODA's Uihlein Campus, 5950 Deer Drive, Lakewood Ranch. 

MONDAY, June 13-THURSDAY, June 16

Braden River boys basketball coach Jason Mickan and his staff will hold the first of three sessions of the Braden River Basketball Camp from 8:30 a.m. to noon at Braden River High, 6545 State Road 70 East. The camp is open to students entering grades 3-9.
