THURSDAY, May 26-SATURDAY May 28

More than 750 of the nation’s top track and field athletes compete during the NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships at IMG Academy. Competition will begin at 10:30 a.m. May 26 with the decathlon. 

FRIDAY, May 27

After three weeks of practice, the Lakewood Ranch football team faces host Booker in its spring game. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. 

SATURDAY, May 28

Area rowers will hit the water at 8 a.m. for the American Youth Cup Series III regatta at Nathan Benderson Park. The annual series of three not-for-profit regattas serve as a lead-in to the USRowing Youth National Championships to be held June 10-12 in West Windsor, N.J. 

SATURDAY, May 28-SUNDAY, May 29 

Dozens of youth and high school lacrosse teams from Florida and around the country will converge on the Premier Sports Campus at Lakewood Ranch for the third annual Laxpalooza’s Warrior Shootout. Pool play will begin at 8 a.m. and continue throughout the day with championship rounds slated for May 29.
