Texas Roadhouse chain to open restaurant in Lakewood Ranch

Texas Roadhouse has leased a building near the new Walmart Supercenter in Lakewood Ranch and will open a restaurant at the new site in May.

According to a press release, the company signed a lease for a 2.62-acre site at River Club Plaza, near the intersection of Interstate 75 and State Road 70.

Based in Louisville, Ky., Texas Roadhouse features steaks, chicken, ribs and more.

“The development of River Club Plaza is evidence of Manatee County’s growth demands, particularly within the Lakewood Ranch community,” said Garrett Williams, vice president for the SRS Real Estate Partners' Tampa office, which is representing Texas Roadhouse in the deal. “This expanding submarket will greatly benefit from the complimentary mix of retailers such as Walmart Supercenter, Texas Roadhouse, Tire Choice and other national brands currently in negotiation."
