Tennis pros to battle in Meadows event

The Meadows Tennis Center is gearing up to host the 2010 “Battle of Club Professionals.” Sixteen tennis pros from nine of the area’s top clubs will participate in a doubles shootout and compete for $1,000.

Last year’s champion, River Strand, will combine its team with the Englewood Tennis Club and try to defend
its title against the strong field.

All matches begin at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, March 14, at the Meadows. Admission is free and open to the public. For information, call 378-5265.
