Incoming sophomore at Pine View School for the Gifted, Halle Belden, is collecting T-shirts and girls clothing for her trip to an orphanage and women’s rehab June 26, in La Vega, Dominican Republic. Belden and her group will teach the girls and women how to turn the T-shirts into items, including headbands, they can sell to make money.
