"So far, so good" is the theme of Dr. Diana Greene's tenure as superintendent of the Manatee County School District.

Nearly a year since she was sworn in May 27, 2015, the Manatee County School Board released its ratings of Greene on a scale of 1 to 10. A 1 signifies "Well Below Expectations" and a 10 means "Well Above Expectations."

She received two 7's, 15 8's, 39 9's and 17 10's on her evaluation.

Each board member analyzed Greene on certain areas of her job, such as rapport building, tolerance for stress, professional knowledge and communication.

On paper, it seems the board will likely renew Greene's contract in June. But a formal vote will be taken at a school board meeting closer to that time.

"I'm still glad we hired her," board member Bob Gause wrote on his evaluation.
