Residents of Stoneybrook in Heritage Harbour celebrated Earth Day with a special celebration and community cleanup April 24.
Participants lingered over informational exhibits at the Rec Center, took guided walking tours of a local ecosystem and donned rubber gloves and bug spray to help pick up trash around the community's most littered areas.
Girl Scout Troop 441 also was on hand to participate and help with festivities.
