St. Armands Circle Association to host 'Weddings in Paradise'

by: Maria Amodio Editor

Brides-to-be will get a taste of everything St. Armands Circle has to offer at the inaugural “Weddings in Paradise” bridal event Saturday, Feb. 26, on St. Armands Circle. The event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. and will feature a runway fashion show and opportunities to meet with Sarasota’s premier wedding experts and designers.

The fashion show will begin at 5 p.m. and will take guests on a visual journey through the entire marriage process, from the proposal to the honeymoon. The show will feature fashions for different types of weddings, including a traditional wedding, a beach wedding, an ethnic wedding and even a doggie wedding, courtesy of Wet Noses.

The event will be an intimate setting, according to St. Armands Circle Association President Diana Corrigan.

“We want to avoid brides getting so overwhelmed and rushing around so much that they get home and can’t remember what they saw,” says Corrigan.

The event is free and open to the public, but guests can pre-register for the event online for a fee of $20.
The first 150 registrants will receive a gift bag of products and gift certificates from participating businesses.
