+ Special-needs prom seeks volunteers for annual event
Night with the Stars, a prom for special-needs individuals ages 16 and older, is in need of volunteers for its April 25 prom event at Woodland The Community Church.

Prom starts at 7 p.m., and organizers need 100 volunteers to secure doors, serve food and drinks and distribute tiaras and flowers to promgoers, among other tasks.

“We use all 100 volunteers,” event co-organizer Mary Anne McDevitt says.
