Siesta Key home sells for $1.8 million

The following residential real estate transactions took place between July 4 and July 8 on Siesta Key. A home in the Mira Mar Beach subdivision tops all transactions in this week’s real estate. Brent Cooper, trustee, of Rockville, Md., sold the home at 99 Beach Road to Christy Ramsey, of Bristol, Ind., for $1.8 million. Built in 1940, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,742 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.65 million in 2009.

Sarasota Beach
Elinor Perretta, trustee, Sarasota, sold the home at 105 Island Circle to Martha Creath, of Annapolis, Md., for $550,000. Built in 1954, it has five bedrooms, three baths and 2,499 square feet of living area.

Tortuga Beach
Richard and Fran Hofstetter sold their Unit 203 condominium at 8710 Midnight Pass Road to Stephen and Laura Curran, Cincinnati, for $450,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,365 square feet of living area.

Anthony Pasquesi, trustee, of Addison, Ill., sold the Unit 206 condominium at 8710 Midnight Pass Road to Francis and Kathryn D’Agata, of Syracuse, N.Y., for $370,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,365 square feet of living area.

Fisherman’s Cove
Linda Tichenor, of Taylorsville, Ky., and Patricia Eskridge, of Bloomfield, Ky., sold their Unit 202 condominium at 9000 Blind Pass Road to Nassib and Reema Habayeb, of Manlius, N.Y., for $388,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 969 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $100,000 in 1998.

Sunrise Cove
Hugh and Kathleen Detzler, of Ontario, Canada, sold their Unit 110 condominium at 8911 Midnight Pass Road to John and Vicki Ragle, of Terre Haute, Ind., for $335,000. Built in 1973, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,093 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $500,000 in 2005.

The Pointe on Midnight Pass
Ian and Jennifer Buchanan sold their Unit P5 condominium at 9397 Midnight Pass Road to Jean-Michel and Chantal Duquenne, Adrien Duquenne and Carole Duquenne, of Labbeville, France, for $315,000. Built in 1975, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,029 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $398,000 in 2003.

Palm Bay Club of Sarasota
Jon and Antoinette Halsted, of Hamilton, Ohio, sold their Unit 337 condominium at 5963 Midnight Pass Road to James and Holly Graham, of Celebration, for $280,000. Built in 1974, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,012 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $277,000 in January.
