Siesta Key home sells for $1.2 million

A home in Sarasota Beach tops all real-estate transactions for the week of Feb. 3 to Feb. 9. LandMark Bank Florida sold the home at 168 Island Circle to Susan and Donald Maier, trustees, for $1.19 million. Built in 2008, it has four bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,431 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.27 million in 2008.

Sunset Royale
Blair Lavagna sold the Unit 314 condominium at 711 Beach Road to Elizabeth Brannen and Michael Donohue, of Westport, Conn., for $520,500. Built in 1969, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 927 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $550,000 in 2006.

Anchorage Yacht and Tennis Club
Tadd and Pamela Ford, of North Maple Grove, Minn., sold their Unit 311 condominium at 6415 Midnight Pass Road to Craig and Ruth Stoller, of Haviland, Ohio, for $375,000. Built in 1975, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,358 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $640,000 in
2006.

Sarasota Beach
Jeffery Silver, of Sarasota, sold his home at 5537 Avenida Del Mare to Chris, Cristine and Brittney Vines, of Alpharetta, Ga., for $325,000. Built in 1957, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,667 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $299,900 in 2001.

La Siesta
Siegfried and Barbara Hausladen, of Edgewood, Ky., sold their Unit 215 condominium at 915 Beach Road to David and Michelle Greene, of Ontario, Canada, for $280,000. Built in 1972, it has two bedrooms, one bath and 753 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $499,000 in 2005.

Siesta Harbor
Richard and Doris Rutledge, of Alpha, Ill., sold their Unit 16 condominium at 1215 S. Portofino Drive to James and Patricia McGehee, of Minooka, Ill., for $237,500. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 991 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $67,000 in 1987.

SARASOTA
Bay Plaza
James and Jo-Lin Titus, of Sarasota, sold their Unit 10B condominium at 1255 N. Gulfstream Ave. to Benjamin and Nancy Meluskey, of Sarasota, for $655,000. Built in 1982, it has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,042 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $282,300 in 1985.

McIntyre-Wilson-Potter’s
Helen Strader, of Cook, Ill., sold her home at 1631 Hillview St. to Sandy and Valerie Squitieri, of Sarasota, for $210,000. Built in 1915, it has five bedrooms, two baths and 2,905 square feet of living area.

Gulf Gate East
Barbara Hunter, of Berlin, Md., sold her home at 3660 Kingston Blvd. to Lynn Manco and Michael Anders, Sarasota, for $172,000. Built in 1981, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,050 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $92,200 in 1981.

Deer Creek
The Bank of New York Mellon, trustee, sold the home at 8640 Woodbriar Drive to Iren Miko, of Sarasota, for $345,000. Built in 1991, it has three bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,979 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $637,000 in 2005.

Mira Lago at Palmer Ranch
Charlotte Matlick, trustee, sold the home at 3835 Alamanda Drive to Joyce Portnoy and Barbara Goodman, of Sarasota, for $290,000. Built in 1996, it has three bedrooms, two baths and 2,188 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $224,900 in 1996.

Isles of Sarasota
Timothy Garrity, of Philadelphia, sold his home at 1601 Burgos Drive to Randall and Catalina Rockel, of Sarasota, for $175,000. Built in 2006, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,672 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $343,800 in 2006.

OSPREY
Oaks II

1159912 Ontario Ltd. sold the home at 654 Trenton Way to Christopher and Kerry Hann, of Osprey, for $740,000. Built in 1990, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 3,322 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $406,000 in 1996.
