Siesta Key condo sells for $1.8 million

A condominium in Crescent Siesta Key tops all sales in this week’s real-estate transactions. The Bank of Commerce sold the Unit AS501 condominium at 6512 Midnight Pass Road to Stuart Wolpoff and Lee Rosner, of Potomac, Md., for $1.8 million. Built in 2006, it has two bedrooms, three baths and 2,143 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $2.6 million in 2006.

SIESTA KEY
Siesta Revised
Fifth Third Mortgage Co. sold the home at 131 Ogden St. to Timothy and Georgia Bixler, of Carmel, Ind., for $569,000. Built in 2000, it has three bedrooms, four baths, a pool and 3,134 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $1.08 million in 2005.

Coquille
Charlene Maxwell, trustee, sold the Unit 108 condominium at 1139 Coquille St. to Anna McCann, of Old Saybrook, Conn., for $542,500. Built in 1983, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,455 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $360,000 in 2000.

Excelsior Beach to Bay
John and Linda Hickey sold their Unit 206 condominium at 6268 Midnight Pass Road to Andrew and Jill Franxman, of Crestview Hills, Ky., for $535,000. Built in 1980, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,263 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $205,000 in 1997.
Sarasota Surf and Racquet Club

Robert and Angela Greenhow sold their Unit 403 condominium at 5916 Midnight Pass Road to Siesta SSR W403 LLC for $518,300. Built in 1971, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,240 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $220,000 in 1993.

Bay Island Shores
Lucy Keber sold her home at 738 Freeling Drive to Stephane Gardinier, of Sarasota, for $500,000. Built in 1953, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,972 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $880,000 in 2004.

Island Reef
Gerald Crossman sold the Unit 101-G condominium at 8773 Midnight Pass Road to Jay Crossman, of Ontario, Canada, for $315,000. Built in 1981, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,303 square feet of living area.

Paradise Cove
Cynthia Christian, trustee, and Robert Christian, of Sarasota, sold the Unit 103 condominium at 6600 Peacock Road to John and Susan Dragun, of Pittsburgh, for $299,500. Built in 1982, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,196 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $280,000 in 2003.

Siesta Pointe
Anthony and Karen Campbell, of Osprey, sold their Unit A6 condominium at 8921 Duval Lane to Timothy and Martine Rowe, of Succasunna, N.J., for $249,900. Built in 2007, it has three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 2,092 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $577,500 in 2007.

Siesta Harbor
Virginia Paton, trustee, sold the Unit 22 condominium at 1215 Portofino Drive to Michael and Holly Peyser, of Williamsburg, Va., for $210,000. Built in 1968, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 929 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $72,000 in 1988.

SARASOTA
Harbor Acres
R. Craig Adams and Holly Adams, of Polk, sold their home at 1526 Harbor Drive to John McKenzie, of Sarasota, for $1.58 million. Built in 1948, it has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a pool and 3,878 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $999,200 in 2004.

Renaissance I
Linda Daniel, of Alexandria, Va., sold her Unit 301 condominium at 750 Tamiami Trail to Kirby Smith and Jan Moore, of Sarasota, for $218,000. Built in 2001, it has one bedroom, one bath and 1,030 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $277,200 in 2003.

PALMER RANCH
Stoneybrook at Palmer Ranch
Richard Newman, trustee, and Susan Newman, of Union, Ky., sold the home at 9619 Knightsbridge Circle to Petr and Jana Fanta, of Sarasota, for $355,000. Built in 1993, it has two bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 1,829 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $400,000 in 2006.

Turtle Rock
Jerry and Audrey Jerabek, of Farmington, Conn., sold their home at 8271 Nice Way to Christian and Bernadette Cordier, of Sarasota, for $275,000. Built in 1999, it has three bedrooms, two baths, a pool and 2,005 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $529,900 in 2005.

Marbella
Blanche Stark, trustee, sold the home at 6750 Paseo Castille to Frankie Tullock, of Sarasota, for $225,000. Built in 1992, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,703 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $157,100 in 1992.

Westwoods at Sunrise Country Club
James and Barbara Cogan, of Dutchess, N.Y., sold their Unit 32 condominium at 6401 Approach Road to Deborah Riseborough, of Sarasota, for $150,000. Built in 1991, it has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,275 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $230,000 in 2006.

NOKOMIS
Mission Valley Estates
Gerarde Sullivan, of Venice, sold his home at 1350 Mustang St. to William and Maria Rowe, of Nokomis, for $255,700. Built in 1985, it has four bedrooms, three baths, a pool and 2,250 square feet of living area. It previously sold for $281,500 in 2003.
