Siesta Key Association names new president

The Siesta Key Association named Catherine Luckner its new president at the group's annual meeting Feb. 26.

Luckner replaces Lourdes Ramirez, who spent eight years with the association, including five years as president.

“I will be looking for you all of you to help me, help the board and help the whole community,” Luckner told the crowd, which included county commissioners Nora Patterson, Christine Robinson and Sarasota County Sheriff Tom Knight.
