Siesta beach access to close temporarily

A popular beach access on south Siesta Key will be closed temporarily, as a condominium association plans renovations beginning next week.

Beach Access 12 will be closed Monday and Tuesday from 6 a.m. to noon, according to a Sarasota County news release. Sea Shell Condominium Association will pressure wash and paint a wall adjacent to the parking lot during the closure.
