by: Mallory Gnaegy A&E Editor

Sarasota resident Loren Sletten just won a contest to be Kid Rock’s bartender for the summer. The contest, “Mix for Kid Rock,” was sponsored by Jim Beam and had more than 9,000 entries. The 32-year-old will undergo training with a Jim Beam mixologist, and then he’ll prepare Kid Rock’s cocktails on three tour stops. He’ll also be compensated $10,000 for his work.
