Sarasota Young Voices heading to Paris

by: Mallory Gnaegy A&E Editor

Sarasota Young Voices chamber choir’s fifteen members are heading to France June 22. The nonprofit children’s choir core ensemble will sing at the Notre Dame Cathedral, the American Church in Paris with a few impromptu performances as part of their first tour abroad.

Artistic Director Genevieve Beauchamp founded the choir in 2007. It has since toured each summer to Canada and throughout the United States — but never overseas.

There will be a free send off concert 3 p.m. Saturday, June 21 at Church of the Palms, 3224.
