Sarasota Police seek downtown burglary suspect

Vehicle burglaries on the rise in the city of Sarasota, but Sarasota Police have released a photo that could help nab one suspect.

Detectives believe the unidentified white male with a goatee in a picture released Aug. 15, is responsible for a vehicle burglary in the Palm Avenue Parking Garage in July.

Detectives remind residents and tourists to lock their vehicles and hide valuables from sight when leaving a vehicle in a public place.
